John P. Schilling, M.D.
Dr. Schilling practices orthopaedic surgery with a special interest
in hand, elbow and shoulder surgery at Muir Orthopaedic Specialists.
He completed his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and
residency at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of
Medicine prior to joining Muir Orthopaedic Specialists.
His specialized training has given him the experience
necessary to treat a variety of upper extremity
conditions including nerve injuries, tendon repairs, carpal
tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture, and arthritis. He is
proficient
in arthroscopic treatment of the hand, elbow, wrist, and
shoulder. His practice includes shoulder replacement for
arthritis.
Dr. Schilling is dedicated and focused to his practice and continued
education. He has completed research on topics including clavicle
fixation methods and prolotherapy treatment for tendinopathy.
Dr. Schilling is board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, is a
candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and
Resident Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Schilling was born and raised in Walnut Creek and is delighted
to be back in the San Francisco Bay Area.
